{contact.email_greeting}, As our province continues to re-open and we approach the warmer, often slower paced days of summer, the inclination to relax some of the very diligent health practices we have had in place during the pandemic inevitably emerge. While Saskatchewan seems to have flattened the curve on COVID-19 cases, it is important to consider what we have learned during the pandemic and what we can apply going forward – in both everyday life, and in case of a second wave of the virus. Whether it is an increased awareness of those in our community that are at the greatest risk, the value of more time at home at a slower pace, or perhaps an increased joy in taking time to help others, please consider what you can create as your ‘new normal’. We’ve seen some extraordinary efforts from our health care community and everyday lung champions like Dale Roach, and remain committed to not only investing in world class research, but also serving as one of the most reliable resources for scientifically based information and support. From our family at the Lung Association to yours, please continue to take good care and please stay committed to your health and safety and that of your community.
